Advisors take on a mentoring role with the teams by helping them improve and develop their business ideas and thereby do well in the competition.
Advisors are typically serial entrepreneurs or people with strong experience in their industry. They provide their time and efforts to Venture Cup on a volunteer basis and are important supporters of the organisation.
All advisors have signed our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to keep ideas and projects safe.

Allan Silfverberg Founder, Radical Innovation Consulting Allan is the founder and owner of Radical Innovation Consulting ApS, a consulting firm helping medium-to-large sized organizations improve their capabilities for radical innovation. Allan's core competencies lie within Market Research in FMCG, eliciting end-customer needs through "smart" market research techniques, Innovation management & new business creation (intra- and entrepreneurship), applied entrepreneurship, business startup, etc. Allan holds a cand.merc. from Copenhagen Business School, where he focused on business development and especially radical innovation in large corporations. After finishing his masters, Allan was founder of FocusIT Denmark ApS - a software development outsourcing firm specialised in outsourcing offshore to China. Subsequently, he worked with Novozymes, where he amongst other things, initiated an intrapreneurship competition. |

Anders Brørup Salgsøkonom, YouSee
Anders Brørup has participated in Venture Cup two times, in 2004 for DanishSmarthouse (Construction) and in 2005 for SmartShare Systems (IT hardware). Anders worked with the respective teams to develop their business plans, and both teams were nominated for the national finals. SmartShare Systems, today, is one of Venture Cup's most succesful alumni companies.
Having practical experience with writing business plans for Venture Cup, Anders can provide help to write a business plan focused on core values in relation to venture investments, and sharpen its general structure so that the jury doesn't miss any valuable information.

Mikkel Kinnerup CEO, Office123
Office123 develops fully integrated business software based on open source as an on-demand solution. Mikkel made his master thesis at Copenhagen Business School on the topic ‘Innovation processes in high tech companies'. He have studied entrepreneurship at universities in Dallas, Texas and Monterey, California. During his time a the Trade Council of Denmark in Silicon Valley he gained a lot of experience working for Danish high tech companies. Mikkel was the managing director for Venture Cup in Denmark for several years and has since then worked for a couple of start-up companies in Denmark. Morten Brørup CTO and founder, SmartShare Systems
Morten is a serial entrepreneur. He started his first company in high school, importing floppy disks, sunglasses and whatever could be sold with a profit. In the early days of the dot.com bubble he co-founded the first web site in Denmark which integrated web with SMS services - now every web site does that. Later, he co-founded a VoIP provider, which he scrapped before going online, because the market seemed to become tougher than initially expected. Morten also developed an MP3 walkman, but the market was not mature at the time.
Before founding SmartShare Systems, Morten was the software manager at Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. In SmartShare Systems, Morten has raised 14+ mill. kr. in three investment rounds, successfully headhunted the perfect CEO, established a professional Board of Directors, and the company generated revenue already within one year of incorporation - this time the timing is right. Morten has a M.Sc. EE from DTU, and is a network and telecommunications specialist. Morten's core competencies lies within initial startup, OEM/ODM business models, Network technology, and Software (spanning from embedded devices to cluster systems). |

Thomas Kledal SCO and founder, Inagen
Thomas is currently a senior researcher at Risø. His expertise covers cell biology, virology, molecular pharmacology and proteomics. In the fall 2007 Thomas founded INAGEN, which is a small biotech startup. INAGEN has created a novel method of developing new forms of therapies against viral diseases. The technology utilizes a "self targeting" capability that occurs in the natural defense mechanism of the specific disease to target and kill infected cells. The platform technology can be developed for numerous infectious diseases.

Zahid has nearly two decades of experience in the Danish IT industry. During the past six years he has established two IT companies along with partners. Morten Nissen Nielsen CEO, C02 Neutral Website
Morten is the initiator of CO2 neutral website. The use of the Internet and IT presently emits large volumes of CO2 due to the power consumption. Power is consumed by the servers behind websites, and CO2 neutral website is a new initiative with the offer to remove such internet-related CO2 emission. Before founding CO2 neutral website Morten has created several startups and he has also been CEO of Nyhedsavisen. Morten's core competencies lie within initial startup and business development.
