Tais Clausen has always been an entrepreneur, so after starting a few smaller companies he decided to really go for it after winning the second place in Venture Cup in 2000.
3Shape, who produce 3D scanners and software to the hearing aid, dental and footware industries was started after Tais met Nikolaj Deichmann, back then an student at CBS. Together they starteed working on a technology invented bt Tais while studying at DTU.
Today the company started by the two former students has a profit before tax of around 55 mil DKK and 130 employees. Created with a global mindset from the beginning the company exports 99 % of its sales.

The VELUX story began in 1941 when the inventor Villum Kann Rasmussen first saw the opportunities for developing cheap, useful living space under the sloping roof.
Since starting back then as a small entrepreneurial company VELUX has developed into a international company, manufacturing in 11 countries and with sales companies in just under 40 countries. It is one of the strongest brands in the global building materials sector and its products are sold in most parts of the world. The VELUX Group has about 10,000 employees.
General Manager of VELUX Danmark A/S, Jesper Salskov Jensen, joins us to tell the inspiring story of the entrepreneurial journey of the company.
