How to participate?

Sign up for the StartUp Network to keep updated about Venture Cup's news and events. 

The StartUp Network is the platform where you can stay tuned with Venture Cup's news and events in your city.

Write a businessplan of 10- 20 pages about a business idea within any of our five categories.

To maximise your chances of winning, be sure to check the Competition Criteria before you submit your business idea.

Upload your idea + cover page through the StartUp Network by May 3rd.

Please consider the following:

• Your business idea should be submitted in only one PDF file of up to 5MB, and you should upload it through our StartUp Network. 

EVALUATION AND FINAL

After the deadline, Venture Cup distributes all the eligible ideas to the jury members who read, grade and provide constructive feedback on your business ideas.

The results from the jury are used to rank the business ideas, and the top eight teams of each category are invited to pitch their idea to a jury panel and compete for the top prize of 250,000DKK on the day of the corresponding category final.

The jury panel will evaluate the pitches according to the criteria and find a category winner.

• Fill out the cover page and upload it as a separate file when you submit your business idea. In the cover page you will write your team/business name, and some other general information about your entry.

• Your business plan may be written either in English or Danish. 

Please note that your submission will not be considered if it doesn't comply with these requirements. 

When you participate in Venture Cup through our StartUp Network, your business idea is only visible to the Venture Cup jury members assigned to your project. See further information about confidentiality in Venture Cup. 

SOME TIPS

To support you on your quest, Venture Cup organises workshops about different topics related to the competition criteria. Check the calendar to see which workshops are available in your university.
