Venture Cup statistics and achievements

Each year Venture Cup is in contact with more than 19,000 students interested in entrepreneurship from the Danish universities. We work to inspire, encourage and empower students to become entrepreneurs. Around 1000 students participate in Venture Cup every year.

Record participation rates

The graph demonstrates a very positive development in number of participants in Venture Cup from 2004 till 2010. Venture Cup has managed to each year attract increasing number of students that want to become entrepreneurs.

Companies created by Venture Cup

Venture Cup has been instrumental in the development of more than 80 new companies, which you can find below. Venture Cup alumni companies have created around 430 jobs, raised 155m dkk in investment capital and contribute with more than 67m dkk a year to the Danish economy.
