Feedback and guidance

A key element in Venture Cup is the feedback and guidance teams receive from jury members and advisors.

How are jury members and advisors different?

  • Jury members evaluate a range of ideas and projects according to the same criteria, and provide helpful comments to all the teams they evaluate.
  • Advisors take on an advisory role with the teams by helping them improve their ideas and do well in the competition.

However, one cannot be a jury member and an advisor at the same time. This helps preserve the integrity of the competition.

Who are they?

Jury members are typically investors, managers or lawyers, whereas advisors are more often serial entrepreneurs or mentors. Both groups provide their time and efforts to Venture Cup on a volunteer basis and are important supporters of the organisation.

See the lists of current jury members and advisors.

All Venture Cup staff, jury members, and advisors have signed our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to keep ideas and projects safe.
