Venture Cup winner at ConnectDanmark

ConnectDanmark’s “Best Springboard of 2008” competition was Wednesday won by Medicanical Innovation, the runner up in last years Venture Cup competition.

The young team from Aalborg were pleased to add the 15.000 kr prize money to the pool of funding already secured - namely 125.000 kr won at the Venture Cup final in June 07 and the seed funding recently received from the Maersk Foundation.  

“We were extremely proud to see two Venture Cup alumni out of the 8 companies in the final. That is a fantastic statistic, which our team have worked very hard for“ says director Tine Thygesen, referring to the fact that alumni company FriPrint were also in the final. The 8 companies were chosen from all the Springboards  held in all of Denmark in 2008.
