Venture Cup Alumni most innovative company of 2008

One of Venture Cup’s top performing alumni, hi-tech company 3Shape, took one of the top prizes at this year's Entrepreneur of the Year awards where they won in category “Innovation”. 3Shape produces specialized 3D scanners for the hearing-aid, dental- and footwear industries. The company came second in Venture Cup 2000.

"3Shape was a cross-institutional team in Venture Cup 2000 with participants from DTU and CBS. It is a pleasure to see the rapid growth of this very skilled team and their company, and we are very proud to have been able to help them at the early stages, when support can be hard to find ", Venture Cup director Tine Thygesen says. 3Shape now employs more than 100 people in four different countries.
