Managing Director

Michael was previously the National Manager and Regional Manager for Copenhagen and Southern Denmark. He has been involved with different tech startup projects, founded two student organizations and has experience as project manager, strategy consultant and coach. Michael has an MA in Strategic Management Communication from University of Aalborg.

Marketing Manager

Before joining Venture Cup, Angelica worked as Account Manager at the trade finance office of Toronto Dominion Bank in Mexico City. Angelica was involved in AIESEC for several years and held different positions including national vice president in AIESEC Mexico and Sweden. Angelica studied Business Administration, and has experience in marketing, branding & event management.

Finance

Christian has an international background from having studied and worked in Sweden and the US. Christian has previously held positions within the field of Corporate Finance, Business Controller and as a consultant at the Danish Embassy in Sweden.

Christian is currently enrolled at the Msc. Applied Economics and Finance at Copenhagen Business School.

Project Manager

Nicolai is and has been part of several startup projects and before he joined Venture Cup, he was working as a student assistant in Ministry of Integration, IAK and Callme. Nicolai primarily worked with market analysis and project management.

He is finishing his bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Philosophy from Copenhagen Business School. In addition, Nicolai has studied one semester abroad at Université Paris Dauphine as a part of his BSc.

Editor in Chief, Venture Cup TV 

Martin is educated as a journalist with specialty in cross media journalism. He is experienced in both developing and running an online TV-platform due to his background as TV-journalist for the Danish web-TV pioneer Jyskebank.tv. Martin has a broad company profile from working as Product Manager with specialty in story telling to Head of Communication for the non-profit organization Save the Children Youth Denmark. This gives him an eye for relevant enterprise stories.

Project Coordinator, Copenhagen

Emil has been committee member of YEAD (Young Enterprise Alumni group of Denmark) during 07/08, and now he functions as an active member of YEAD. Emil also works at Alsinger, a tailor in Kompagnistræde and is studying HA-Almen at CBS.

Marketing & Project Coordinator, Zealand

 Jesper is a trained New Media Designer with work experience from a broad range of IT-related fields. Alongside working for Venture Cup, Jesper is studying humanities and technology at Roskilde University. Before joining this team, Jesper competed in Venture Cup and won the regional final of Venture Cup 2008 in Zealand, and hereby showed his understanding and passion for business, new ideas and innovation.

Relations Manager, Mid Jutland

Anja has work experience from France and England, which has provided her with a deep understanding of the importance of differences in team constellations. Since 2007 she has worked for Venture Cup, where one of her main focus areas has been to establish relations between differently skilled people in order to create strong start-ups. Anja is also studying Corporate Communication at Aarhus School of Business.

Marketing & Project Coordinator, Southern Denmark

Morten comes from a background in recruitment, where he specialised in finding top students for job opportunities, he brings a large professional network from this job to Venture Cup. Prior to this Morten has industry experience from a large range of business, which has fuelled his interest in building companies. Additionally, Morten is studying a Master in International Marketing at the University of Southern Denmark.

Regional Communications Manager, Northern Jutland

Maiken is engaged in supporting students to start up their own company and developing their business ideas through the AAU Incubator program by guidance and setting up hands on entrepreneurship courses. Previously Maiken have researched in innovation and organizational changes for the IKE group and has international work experience from internship at UN High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR).

Maiken has a MA in Sociology from University of Aalborg specialized in gender and management.

Event Coordinator

Ruth has joined the team to assist with organising the Venture Cup Final 2010. Originally from the UK, where she studied French and literature, Ruth has also lived in France, working as a Language Assistant, and in Switzerland, as a Coordinator for Education First. Ruth is keen to continue working within education- especially with projects which encourage students to think outside their normal curriculum, which is why Venture Cup is so appealing!

Freelance, Projects

Formerly employed by McKinsey & Company, and previous to that by AP Møller-Mærsk, Sylvia Nedeltchev now manages large projects for Venture Cup on a freelance basis. Most recently Sylvia was responsible for Venture Cup's finale event held at Børsen in June 09. Sylvia originates from Norway and is currently finishing her MSc in Organisational Innovation and Entrepreneurship at CBS.

Marketing, Herning HIH

Brian has been a friend of Venture Cup since 2005, and during these years, he has worked with different projects on a freelance basis. Brian's focus is AU-HIH in Herning, where he studies Business Development Engineer. The last four years, Brian has been very active in YEAD (Young Enterprise Alumni group Denmark) as Committee Member and Chairman, and in September 09 was Brian elected General European Coordinator for JA-YE Alumni Europe - the European sister org. to YEAD.

Zenia W. Francker

Regional Manager, Zealand

Zenia was a co-developer of the first entrepreneurship course at Roskilde University and is passionate about helping students to develop their start-up ideas. She holds a B.sc. in Business Studies and International Communication and a NLP master practitioner in communication and presentation. She has a background within the service industry and has previous experience as both counsellor and coach. Zenia is currently studying for her Master of Economics and Business Administration.

Michael Mandrup

Regional Manager, Southern Denmark

Michael specializes in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship and is currently finishing his Master in Culture & Communication at the University of Southern Denmark. Michael has long been a key player within the entrepreneurship scene in Odense, among other roles as the regional coordinator of START Danmark, and as project coordinator at the Students Union in Odense.

Louise Bennetsen Kruchov

Regional Manager, Mid Jutland

Aside from working in Venture Cup, Louise is currently studying Corporate Communication at Aarhus School of Business. She has a bachelor from the University of Southern Denmark in Media Sciences and Marketing, Branding and Communication. Besides being Regional Manager in Mid Jutland, Louise is in charge of Venture Cup's national workshop programme.

Kenneth Stenkjær Pedersen

Regional Manager, Northern Jutland

Kenneth is actively engaged in promoting entrepreneurship at the university of Aalborg. Besides, he is an entrepreneur working on different projects of his own.  Kenneth also manages the incubator at the University of Aalborg, where students can seek free and professional guidance and mentoring on their own start-ups.
