Feedback and guidance

A key element in Venture Cup is the feedback and guidance teams receive from jury members and coaches.

How are jury members and coaches different? 

• Jury members evaluate a range of ideas and projects according to the same criteria, and provide helpful comments to all the teams they evaluate.
• Coaches take on an adivsory role with the teams by helping them improve their ideas and do well in the competition.

However, one cannot be a jury member and a coach at the same time. This helps preserve the integrity of the competition.

Who are they?

Jury members are typically investors, managers or lawyers, whereas coaches are more often serial entrepreneurs or advisors. Both groups provide their time and efforts to Venture Cup on a volunteer basis and are important supporters of the organisation.
