How the competition works

Regional Finals National Finals Life after Venture Cup

The competition is run over the academic year in two phases (new teams are welcome anytime):

Competition Set-Up

You are free to enter during any one phase. However, we recommend that you take part in both phases, to get an advance evaluation of your idea and project before the national Final.
Venture Cup Copenhagen/Southern Denmark/Mid Jutland (Fall 2007)
  • Sign up today and see who else is participating in your region.
  • Before 12 noon, Nov 19th, 2007, you submit an Idea Outline (1-3 pages) where you convince the Jury about the great potential of your idea.
  • Be sure to see the exact criteria we ask the Jury to evaluate your idea on.
  • Top ten teams in each region are invited to the Regional Finals to present their ideas.
  • Read more about the regional Venture Cup, and the criteria, here.
Venture Cup Denmark (Spring 2008)
  • Before 12 noon, May 12th, 2008, you submit an investment-ready Business Plan of up to 20 pages.
  • The business plan should be general enough to be read by people outside the field, yet detailed enough to convince investors that you are worth their money.
  • Detailed information about the national Venture Cup and the exact criteria will be available here.
  • Remember, you can still join even if you missed out on the regional phase.

During both phases, various workshops and events are held to support you in any way you may need.
